Sometimes, you need to gain perspective.
You may need to make some changes in your life, but you are uncertain about the best direction to go.
Motivation to accomplish goals and seek new challenges may be lacking.
Relationships are hard to make and harder to keep.
You have feelings, some that you would not mention to family, that are impacting your life. The uncertainty is overwhelming!
Maybe, you just need some guidance and encouragement about life in general.
It is about gaining perspective in a safe place.
Not knowing what to talk about is a common problem. However, when we communicate our personal, authentic truth, we heal and become more aware of our experience.
People are extremely complex and need a safe, welcoming place to express themselves truthfully.
The body and the mind are heavily influenced by our true perspective.
And, our environment has an impact on our perspective, and the body experiences the impact of that perspective.
This is where therapy can help.
Here is my approach to individual therapy.
In therapy with me, you will find a relaxed and safe environment where you can feel free to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences that you may have difficulty expressing elsewhere due to fear of judgment or expectations.
You will be provided with individual therapy that is thorough, in-depth, and healing.
I work with teens and adult men and women of all backgrounds and provide a safe environment where you can be your authentic self to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, examine the choices you have made, and begin to make sense of it all.
The process helps you make meaning of your experiences and find the deep truth of who you are.
The focus is on you!
My training includes psychoanalytic approaches, cognitive-behavior therapies, mindfulness-based approaches, and resilience studies. My practice is often informed by these models, and existential-phenomenological psychotherapy is all about your experience.
Your mind, your body, your spirit, and your experiences are unique. So, I take pride in customizing your treatment to address your individual needs.
The therapeutic relationship is the most important factor for bringing about positive outcomes in psychotherapy. I want to build a trusting relationship with you because it is essential to work with a therapist that helps you feel safe and comfortable.
Let’s work to help you gain perspective.
